Derek Jeter

In 2011, Derek Jeter became the 28th Major Leaguer to join the elite 3,000 hit club. Possessing a rare combination of power, speed and determination, he has spent his entire professional career with the Yankees. Both a defensive and offensive powerhouse, Jeter is a five-time Gold Glove winner and has the eighth-highest lifetime batting average of all active players. He’s won five World Series and has been an American League All-Star 11 times. Off the field, Jeter has dedicated himself to making a difference by helping at-risk youth pursue a healthy lifestyle through his Turn 2 Foundation.
