Allyson Felix

Since 2004, Olympic track and field sprinter Allyson Felix has been collecting gold and silver Olympic and World Championship medals in the events she has come to own: the 200-meter dash, the 400-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay. And the 2012 London Olympic Games proved golden again. Felix bested the 200, the 4x100 relay and the 4x400 relay. Born and raised in Southern California, she began honing her skills as a sprinter her freshman year of high school and started setting - and slashing - records before she turned pro in 2003. Track & Field News named Felix its national Girls High School Athlete of the Year before she went on to make history with a 22.11-second sprint in the 200-meter dash in Mexico City. Felix also became the second woman in history to take home three gold medals at one event - the 2007 IAAF World Championships.
